Clement & Co. was commissioned by Casey Veggies and Peas & Carrots International to direct the video for “Euphoria II” from Casey’s Sleeping In Class album. The resulting video was inspired by a game from Highlights magazine, challenging viewers to pay attention to the changes within each long take of the split screen while Casey delivers one of his typically magnetic performances.

Clement & Co. was commissioned by Grieves to create the visuals for “Against The Bottom”, the last track of his Rhymesayers debut, Together/Apart. Directed by John Bollozos and John Henry Baliton, the resulting video is a contemplation of youth and love and the ephemerality of both. The feel and visual style of the video were designed to accompany Budo’s warm and sunny backing track while countering Grieve’s confessional lyrics, with the lifestyle depicted serving as a preface to the content of the song. Clement & Co. was commissioned by West Coast hip-hop group Pac Div to produce and direct a short teaser video for their highly anticipated Mania! mixtape. The video was designed to introduce the refined sound of the mixtape to the Pac Div’s longtime fans while also introducing the group to a wider audience.

Clement & Co. was commissioned by Pitchblend to film and photograph the first installment of their Jun Cha Artist Series. This project documented a collaboration between renowned tattoo artist Jun Cha and rising star Freddie Gibbs as they conceptualized and executed a tribute to the Black Panthers’ Huey Newton. The project premiered on Prefix Magazine and has been syndicated in many major blogs and websites as part of Black History Month.

Clement & Co. was commissioned by Pac Div and Universal Motown Records to direct and produce the video for “Anti-Freeze”, the lead single for the group’s Mania! mixtape. Inspired by Richard Avedon’s seminal portrait work found in In The American West monograph, the video was designed to bridge the group’s past history with the new phase of their careers by bringing studio techniques to locations from their previous music videos.

Clement & Co. was commissioned by Southern California-based band Naive Thieves to produce and direct their very first music video. Paying homage to a generation that learned about new bands through magazine articles, “Le Sheik Rhat” weaves a loose Nouvelle Vague narrative that unfolds through split screens, text and informational tidbits spread throughout. Premiered on Pigeons & Planes. Directed by John Bollozos.

Clement & Co. was commissioned by Rhymesayers Entertainment and Grieves to create bonus content to be bundled with Grieves’ Together/Apart. What resulted from this is Present/Tense, an in-depth documentary that follows Grieves and Budo as they wrap up and promote their Rhymesayers debut. Present/Tense captures off-the-cuff moments as these two artists are on the cusp of their biggest and most accomplished project to date.

“Biography of John Austin” is a documentary that follows West Coast underground hip-hop veteran Ras Kass as he touches upon the balance of pleasing his core fans and branching out to reach a wider audience.
