You know, it’s hard out here for creative types. Deadlines are as brutal as ever, clients never seem to know what they want, connections can be fleeting and if you’re a freelancer, paychecks rarely come on time — if they ever come in at all. And through all of this, you have to keep yourself inspired and motivated. Luckily for graphic designers, Design Is Blank, was launched recently and is already well on its way in becoming a must-see resource for anyone working or trying to break through in that field. Launched by two Art Center College of Design alumni, Design Is Blank is intended to fill in a gaping hole in the design field and provides resources, advice and inspiration in a no-nonsense way, setting it apart from most online design destinations that have become increasingly focused on visuals above all else.
