Google Images Has a New Layout and Reaches a New High As Well

We’re aren’t sure which piece of news is bigger here; the new spiffing features of Google Images, or the fact that it gets over a billion hits per day.

Either way, the internet giant from Silicon Valley is at it again, proving that they intend to keep their status as the best search engine on the web.

Google Images’ new layout enables users to click specifications for the pictures that they’re looking for in order to narrow down their search.

While others think that the new changes in Google’s image search were “borrowed” from rival search engine Bing, Marissa Mayer, the company’s VP on search maintained that their inspiration for the site’s new look all came from Google’s users and how they interact with the images.

Of course, it’s futile to play the “Did not! Did too!” game here. You all know how it is in the world of tech; a million different companies can offer the same features, but it ultimately comes down to who can show it off the best. And in this case, another round goes to Google.
