Panasonic to Unveil 3D Camcorder in October

Talk about really preserving those memories. Panasonic announced yesterday that the first consumer 3D Camcorder named HDC-SDT750 will hit the shelves this October.

With a price tag of $ 1,399.95, the camera will come with a lens that can shoot images from both the left and right eye at the same time, and record them at 960 x 1800 pixels. It will also have five built-in microphones to record multi-directional sounds.

There is just one tiny limitation to it though. While the HDC-SDT750 will come with its own video editing software that will let users edit and burn 3D images into Blu-Ray discs and DVDs, the videos will have to be converted into 2D before they can be uploaded on the Internet.

In closing, we here at Clement & Co. would just like to express just how grateful we are for this new gadget. For one thing, we can finally capture and relive our awesome memories in as much detail as possible. And for another, we are so thankful that this camcorder wasn’t invented yet during those times when our alcohol tolerance was low and our friends oh so diligently captured our drunk and wasted moments on tape. We know better now.
