Aloe Blacc, “Billie Jean”

While the rest of the world is talking about Chris Brown’s tearful tribute to Michael Jackson (which we loved enough to include below), we still can’t get over this little cover that Aloe Blacc did of “Billie Jean” for The King of Pop’s death anniversary. By turning the classic dance floor burner into a slow-as-molasses blues tune, Aloe Blacc completely flipped our experience of the song into something we’ve never felt before, competing with CB’s tribute in terms of heart-swelling emotions. Don’t hate us for being human; bloggers have feelings, too.
